My Role: I lead the Open Access Labs group in the Provost Information Technology Office.

About Me: Interested in programming for visualization and physically-based simulation of natural phenomena for purposes of visualization and animation choreography with a specific interest in physically based aerodynamic flight of birds and behavioral flocking. I also teach courses in Visualization Sciences particularly in the area of computing for visualization and web design.

My Role: Manage all open access computing labs and remote computing facilities. Started in January 1988 managing a single graphics lab with the primary focus of providing resources for computer graphics to the student population as well as providing contract graphics to the university.

About Me: I graduated Texas A&M University in ’92 at which time I received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. I have worked for Texas A&M University since 1987. In that time I have grown from Student Worker to my current title of IT Manager III for the Open Access Labs.

My Role: I have been using VMware virtualization technologies for over 15 years and providing VDI for the students for more than 10 years. My other IT skills include Active Directory design and creation, System Center Configuration Manager, user print accounting, SQL, Windows Security, Network Appliance storage, Xerox DocuPrint printers and Visual Studio C Sharp programming.

How fortunate am I to work doing what I love (training/project management), where I love (on campus) and to be a part of and serve a great community (B/CS)?

My Role: Development and delivery of training and documentation to OAL Lab personnel and beyond.

About Me: I have been working in OAL since 2009 as part-time student worker. I was moved up to a full-time position back in 2013. Now, I over oversee Central Campus Remotes.

My Role: My role is to work with my team to provide the best customer service on campus. My team consist of student workers, and a full-timer. We take care of OAL computers and printers in various locations on central campus. About Me: I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas A&M in 1993.  I started as a part time student worker, went out into the world to explore some other options and came back to work full time as an IT Supervisor.

My Role: I do my best to ensure that the Blocker Lab provides the best possible service to students and faculty, as well as doing what I can to support the Open Access Labs across campus.

My Role: Within the Open Access Labs, I oversee all the computers and remote locations on West Campus. Our team of full time staff and student workers strives to make the labs and the university a welcoming and enjoyable place for all students.

My team and I strive to provide excellent customer as well as troubleshoot hardware issues to ensure that workstations, printers, and all associated peripherals at our labs are available for use.
