Public Service Announcements
Officially recognized student organizations and University Departments can post a Public Service Announcement (PSA) on Open Access Lab screensavers to promote official University events. Priority will be given to student organizations and PSAs concerning lab operations.• All PSAs must meet the Department of Student Activities guidelines and other relevant university rules and regulations.
• To run a PSA, you must provide a 640x480 (or smaller) GIF file that uses Index color or JPG format. You must use Red Green Blue (RGB) color format. CYMK color graphics do not render correctly.
• All PSA graphics must contain the full name of the responsible recognized student organization. Abbreviations and Greek letters will not suffice.
• Student organizations may only have one PSA running (displayed) at a time.
• PSAs may be submitted up to three months in advance.
• PSAs may run for up to one week (seven consecutive days) at a time.
• PSAs submitted less than one week (seven consecutive days) before desired posting time may not be processed in time.
• The number of PSAs may be limited to prevent interference with lab operations.
• PSAs deemed unacceptable will not be posted.
